The Famous Leather DIY

For some time now, on my Facebook page, I have been talking about my big and challenging DIY project - Leather sequin jumper. Ever since I saw this fabulous cardigan on PHOSPHENE, I knew I had to make something like this. Not long after that I bought some recycled leather and while waiting for it to be delivered I found the base of my creation - a simple knitted jumper from H&M.

And then it started...The most challenging part (well at least for my hands :D) was cutting those tiny circles...I would have never thought that scissors could be that uncomfortable to use.

By the time I hit 300 I couldn't wait any longer, had to start sewing the circles on...

So I kept going on and on until I realized that more is not always better! So finally I've settled with abstract leather sequin detailing at the bottom of the jumper. And here is the final product of a few days cutting and sewing, re-thinking and editing...

Super easy to style with a pair of trousers and some leather details. Add a spark of silver and your'e a STAR!

Good LUCK and good LOOK!
